This adorable family you may recognize… Or at least the ridiculously handsome little boy. That is Ingram and his parents. Being they are a family who moves frequently they wanted to capture the beauty that is Whidbey Island and capture some wonderful family images before they’re off to their next adventure! Well a few weeks back we had a HUGE wind storm where a large percentage of the Island lost power for days after the fact. That was the day of our originally scheduled session. They drove almost an hour to come down to Double Bluff Beach as it is one of my favorite locations for beach shoots. Well the rain that had tormented us off and on that day did stay away when we got there but the wind was so furious hair, clothing, and sand was flying everywhere. We quickly gave in and said well this isn’t going to work. 🙁 Being we were coming into Fall season here which means the rain season we crossed our fingers and rescheduled.
The weather completely cooperated with us the day of the second session as you can see and it was a beautiful day! Ingram got to run around and play with sticks, rocks, and even a crab! I did get the crab thrown at me but hey it comes with the territory of trying to photograph a 1 year old LOL. I truly hope no matter where their journey takes them whether it is near or far that this beautiful fun family can cherish these images and help to remind them of this time they spent on Whidbey Island!
And I just had to laugh at Rush’s face when he was playing with Ingram in the grass… Made me laugh when I was uploading these images and of course could not delete it as it part of the fun we had shooting this session! 🙂
