This spunky gal is Xana! I can honestly say there are people you meet in the world that have been through a lot and let it change them for a negative and these are usually grown adults who have gone through these life changing moments. This young woman has been through so much and at such a young age but she is amazing! Not long after our session began she had me mesmerized with her spirit. I had a brief idea of who she is by her questionnaire but in person she exceeded my excitement over meeting her.

3 words to describe yourself: Perfectionist, clever, compassionate
Hobbies include: Studying French, dabble in the art of baking, hanging out with friends, watch movies, read. Also a fan of adventures-hiking, kayaking. My personal favorite of her answers is “badly dancing to music in my room, which usually involves off-key singing”. I mean who doesn’t like to badly dance and sing off-key? I know I do it all the time!
What do you want to major in? Double major in elementary education and french
But on a serious note this is where I knew she had that something special about her… When asked what she most wanted from senior portraits she said:
I want something that will show my uniqueness as well as my love for being surrounded by positive things. I want my kids to someday look back on my senior portrait, as well as friends, and be like “wow, that was you?” I want to be able to have a portrait that fully encompasses my true self.
Well I think we captured that in her portraits. Her kids will indeed say “Wow” and that makes my heart happy.
