Well what can I say that doesn’t just beam from this beautiful mommy to be? It was an honor to get to capture this moment in Megan’s life. There is something incredibly special about the bond of mother and her unborn child and it should be documented for the child to cherish later in life.
On a personal side bar I did not get maternity pictures done with my son and I wish I had. He asks from time to time what I looked like when he was in my belly and I don’t have anything to show him. It was before cell phone “selfies” or the trend to have professional images taken. It is an amazing time in your life and although you may have one or two or more each child is a different moment in time….. Ok off my rant LOL
Back to Megan! It is only the 2nd time my big fluffy skirt has been put to use and what a beautiful gal for the piece to be on. I made the top to show Megan’s adorable belly bump and just adored the combination. Her husband, good friend and little baby girl (OMG she had the cutest gold shoes on & if I could have fit I would have taken LOL) came for the shoot as well and got to be in on the fun. I did her hair and had my makeup artist Erin Roussell pampered her with her makeup skills. Then the modeling session began 🙂 Oh what fun!
Here’s to welcoming this little man in early March! You will be welcomed into these awesome parents arms soon!
