So you’ve either considered booking a session to celebrate yourself or even better you have an upcoming shoot with me! If it is the latter then you have or will be shortly receiving your Welcome Kit from me that has a fabulous “Style Guide” included that tells you what to wear and how to best fit your figure. This is a wonderful place to start to get ideas but what if you want that AMAZING dress that is simply going to take your session to the next level? For me that dress is something form fitting and glitzy! I LOVE SEQUINS…. I know it seems like I just yelled there but really I truly love the sparkle they have and how every woman can feel amazing and special in sequins.
Well darn you just looked through your closet and you don’t have anything that has that wow factor you are going for… No problem… And I’ll tell you why. I have been loving a company called Rent the Runway for quite some time now. This is an amazing service that has ALL of the latest fashions straight from the Runways of Paris, NYC, etc and the biggest selection of boutique designers. I don’t know about you but I cannot see spending $200-$400 for a dress that I may wear once. It is simply not in my budget or lifestyle to do so. But it doesn’t mean that you can’t borrow one! 😉 Rent the Runway allows you to rent a dress and accessories to wear for that special occasion or fabulous photo-shoot you have booked. Don’t know what size you are? No problem because they will send you TWO different sizes for no extra cost! OMG I know that just rocked your world 😉 Simply pick the dress size you normally wear and then pick a second. The best thing about it is that when you are selecting a dress there are other customers who have given reviews of the dresses and how they fit as well as posting pictures of themselves wearing the dress. You don’t have to select a dress based off of a supermodel who weighs 98 pounds but see REAL women wearing these designers.
All in all I cannot say enough about this service but lets say it is still not in your budget to rent a dress or outfit for your session. That’s okay. Did you know your closet can expand by simply thinking outside of the box and thinking about your friends that have similar body shapes? Maybe just maybe they have something fabulous you can borrow. Go “shopping” in their closet. I’m certain they won’t mind! The point is do not let the idea of having “nothing” to wear deter you from having a photo session with me. The point of my sessions are to help showcase your inner beauty that matches your outer beauty as well.
