This dazzling young woman is Amanda. It’s hard to believe she is the mom of 3! She is simply stunning and an amazing woman on many levels. We had such a good time while doing her shoot. She had reached out to have a session as a way to document herself in this stage of her life. It is a family tradition that she is wanting to carry on as 2 generations of women in her family have portraits of their mothers on their walls from when they were at this point in their lives and she would like to give these images to her children so they can remember her at this point. I think it is a wonderful tradition and hope that it continues on in their family.
Sadly they are about to move as they are a Navy family. I wish I could continue to photograph her and her family for years to come as I have gotten to photograph her beautiful children as well. I am so glad that I had the chance to meet her and her family. I work with her husband and can say they will all be missed by those they have become close with here! I can say by working at a Naval Hospital I do get to meet some incredible people and this family is one of the loveliest around!
