When I selected my 2019 Senior Model Group I had a vision. A vision of beautiful classical girls in a field with floral crowns. Well these young ladies showed up game and holy cow did we have a blast and did they rock their “A game”. For years I have driven by a place in Coupeville on my way to and from work and thought to myself gosh I would love to photograph someone in that field by their barn. I tracked the sunset and sunrise to pick out the best time of day to have a shoot if I ever could. All these years lady I decided to ask if I could. The wonderful people at Ryan’s House said absolutely we could shoot in their field and I was practically jumping for joy, after all these years I was finally going to shoot in this gorgeous field.
Well next on the agenda was the floral crowns… I knew exactly where I was wanting them to come from and Melissa at Flying Bear Farm was just as stoked about this concept as I was I think and agreed to make all the floral crowns. Each of the girls got to keep their crowns at the end too so they could dry them and re-wear them. I won’t lie I was kind of jealous because I LOVED them too 🙂
The wardrobe was up to the girls and I’m just so impressed how they pulled off the look in my head so well. Three of the four senior reps this year were able to make the shoot so I decided to let the girls invite a couple of friends as well to make it an even funner session. Thank you so much Erin, Kylayna, Zoe, Lucia, and Kyah for this amazing session!
The last collage is what happens when your phone is hijacked by the best girls around HAHAHAHA
